Apryl Ann’s love for photography truly shows through her work.  Her ability to capture the beauty of her surroundings, along with her attention to detail is not only incredible, but awe inspiring.

Her work has been featured in Green Wedding ShoesRuffled100 Layer Cake and Style Me Pretty… just to name a few.  So it is no surprise that The Swoon Event is beyond pumped to have Ann Ann Photography as the official event photographer!

As you may recall, in April, I had the honor of hosting the most creative wedding vendor showcase this side of the Red River. Well, let’s just say it was pretty darn amazing.  Not only did we get our party on to the beats of DJ Jason Esquire in the Life in Deep Ellum booth, but we also had the pleasure of seeing creative designs up close and personal from folks like sponsor Shag Carpet, Design Roots, and EstiMade

…And the fashion was on point.  Beautiful models donned in gorgeous gowns from Damsel White Label & MaidsEco Trousseau & Winifred Bean walked the graffiti covered floor. These looks were topped off by stunning + modern make-up and hair design courtesy of Halo Brides. Need I mention the eats?  Easy Slider Truck, Ruthie’s Rolling Cafe, Uncle Willie’s Pies and RedRaspberry Cakes made sure we didn’t go hungry.

Many thanks to each and every vendor and attendee!  You are the reason I do this show.  I’d also like to give a very special thank you to Brides of North Texas for its amazing coverage of the show, Watters for its incredibly generous dress donation to The Prom Shop Project, and of course Apryl Ann Photography, who served as our event photog. Apryl is a phenomenal photographer, and her images from the show are nothing short of amazing. Make sure you check out our website for more of her images.

Needless to say, I left the show full of good bites, love and inspiration. I am beyond stoked for what’s in store for 2014!  Cheers!
